Execute environmental management processes such as chemicals and waste
management.
Handle industrial hygiene, equipment protection, machine guarding and other health
and safety programs.
Handle safety assessments and deploy corrective measures to minimize hazard risk
profile.
Achieve health and safety management excellence.
Performs reporting, risk assessments and auditing and observes all QHSE related
activities and policies within a location.
Ensures operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner and in conformance
to federal, provincial and company safety regulations by integrating and implementing
company and third-party QHSE policies and procedures.
Performs post-incident investigations and communicates with the QHSE Manager and
others until all action items have been closed.
·Files QHSE documents and participates in job risk analysis and continual
improvement.
Provide support to Project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational
health, safety and environmental issues.
Support the HSE Manager in ensuring HSE compliance onshore and offshore and
perform regular HSE audits in the areas of business and vessel operations.
Attend pre-job, planning and client meetings as required on HSE related matters.
Provide support to the dept on the implementation of Company-wide HSE initiatives
eg. ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, etc.,
Assist with developing HSE plans that comply with Company policies and procedures
as well as client requirements.
Ensure training, tool box meetings, and drills are implemented as part of the
company’s training and HSE program, i.e. emergency response systems, etc.
Investigate and complete the process for close out of all Accident Investigation
Reports and prepare/submit lessons learned to the HSE Manager.
