Duties&Responsibilities(Presales/DesignEngineer): Handle Presales activities including design and estimation for ELV/ICT (Structured cabling, CCTV, ACCESS CONTROL, IPTV/SMATV, Audio/video Intercoms, Barriers).
Liaise with the end customers on conducting technical meetings and presentation's about
the solutions offered.
Work together with the distributors and vendors commercially and technically for effective
closure of projects.
Meet with channels/customers to understand their current technical environment, key
business issues, and future technology requirements.
Preparation of Installation based on shop Drawings of ELV services pertaining to: - Fire Alarm System (Smoke/ Heat detector, Manual-call point, Sounder/ Flasher, Input/ Output Modules, Fire-Alarm Control Panel etc.)
- Structured cabling (CAT6, CAT3 & Fiber installation)
- Security System (Access control systems (Card reader, Magnetic Door Lock, Reader Interface Module, Boom Barrier & gate barrier),
- CCTV Surveillance System (Fixed Cameras, PTZ Cameras, Digital Video Recorders, Monitor Screens, joy-stick etc.)
- Telephone & Data System (Telephone Data Outlets, Patch Panels, Switches)
- Public Address System (Speakers, Amplifiers) and IPTV/SMATV
- Audio/video Intercoms
Responsible to plan, take off, supervise, coordinate installation works, testing and commissioning according to specifications, approved shop drawings, method statementsand procedure, material handling in order to meet the contract program.
Preparation of Shop Drawings pertaining to
- Security Systems
- Fire Alarm
- Audio/Video
- IPTV
- Building Automation system
* Prepare takeoff for the above
* Site visits for monitoring progress
* Also responsible for preparing Cable Routing.
* Co-ordination with site and store so as to utilize the company resources properly.
* To prepare and issue quality control documents (inspection requests) in order to obtain approval from client representative.
