Care and support a student diagnosed with Epilepsy and ADHD from 4 - 6 grade
Develop Care plan to meet student health needs in school
Create and maintain detailed chart to monitor numbers of seizure & duration
Maintain safe and attention less atmosphere when student has seizure episode
Educate other student to show empathy and support
Advocate for implementation of educational accommodation for student
Explain rationale for accommodation to student and parent
Maintain great communication with parent
Inquire about Seizure episode, activities and medication regiment at home
Educate parent on how to help student at home
Contribute extensive on child IEP target and implementation
Create pupils profile for student
Create ABC chart for Student behavior
Incorporate behavior therapy to replace challenging behavior with appropriate
behavior
Use mindfulness therapy
Marked decrease in student social isolation and increase peer relationship
Succeed in counselling student to join in for P.E lessons and other school activities
Educate student on how to build up self esteem, care and self love.
Ensure student attain set goals and achieve IEP targets as well as receiving
holistic care
Provide Nursing care for student aged 3 - 15 years
Assess plan and care for students with diabetic and administer insulin
Manage medical emergencies on campus and with students outside campus
Involve in school wide screening
Conduct health week each term
Educate and promote healthy life style and self care among students and staffs
Create and distributed health forms /letters to student to obtain pre - health
information
Referrals for staffs and students to health facilities
Maintain clinic record, respect students confidentiality
Administer oxygen and nebulizer therapy to students when necessary
Created head injury assessment form and incident report forms
Compile list of student with allergic reaction with guidelines for action and precaution
Counsel student as occasion demands
Comprehensive preparations of Nursing unit during QNSA and QCHP inspection
Created and implemented school clinic rules
Inventory of school clinic essentials
Participate in school safety plans
Attending school trip and sports events
Follow calls to check on sick students well-being
Meeting with the School Principal to review on health related target and reforms
