DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Organize, assign and supervise junior Accounting staff.
• Review journal entries of junior accountants and analyze general ledgers to ensure they are recorded appropriately on monthly basis.
• Check validity and accuracy of accounting records, Schedules and Reports.
• Monitor of customers / suppliers dues and ensure remittance by due dates.
• Timely calculations and recording of wages and incentives for the staff.
• Monitor capital expenditure in a timely manner and ensure capital expenditures are in line with the budget.
• Analyze revenues, gross profit, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis.
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly Management accounts and supporting schedules to facilitate decision making by the management.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to carry out their work.
