Worked as Systems Assistant at A&Z Management Consulting, Dubai.During my internship following tasks were assigned to me;
• Developing firm’s service communication mix and ensuring its effective execution.
• Working on research assignments related to business.
• Assisting the manager in conducting workshops and training events.
Participated as Exchange participant for "Social Business Challenge" held in Collaboration with CESVI NGO and AIESEC Milano at AIESEC Milano Cattolica, ITALY from 11/06/2012 to 28/07/2012.
• Collaborated with a team of 5 other international students. Conducting analyses of CESVI NGO current facility and organizing fund raising events in Milan considering the budget and future returns
• Maintaining Cash book. Maintained accurate records of Accounts Payable/Receivable invoices, completed with Microsoft Excel.
The program that I had done from Institute of Business Management was bachelors of business administration. It was a 4 year degree program. A total of 144 credit hours including in it 3 credit hours of official internship was to be completed in order to attain a degree in this program. The official internship aspect from my view is one of the best aspects of this program. The practical experience one gets just before entering the job market is vital as the internship helps in developing team building skills, communication skills, time management skills. How to behave and work in a professional organization.The overall program gave us the knowledge of different business functions involved in an organization.This program improved computer literacy of students, how to present one self and give an effective presentation and how to communicate effectively whether it be communicating via email, letter drafting and how to give a persuasive speech.
