Working as a part of the site management team to liaise with planning, construction management, subcontractors, supervisors, plant and surveyors, with the ability to think critically and to solve on ground problems.
Main responsibilities include:
Supervised sub-contractors work, including (but not limited) to blockwork, water proofing, MEP and drainage, steel structure installation, post tension elements, precast member installation and rebar, scaffolding and formworks
Liaised with technical team to resolve unexpected technical difficulties, studied shop drawings to fulfil design requirements and developed the most effective execution method
Acted as most proactive in resource arrangements which includes DOKA formworks, Rebar orders, concrete orders, manpower demand and daily used hand tools to heavy equipment
Prepared site activities in most effective way to achieve daily concrete poring of 500 meter cubes and more during rafts and slabs
Efficient management of paper work and essential documents required daily including inspection and material requests, daily, weekly and monthly plans, cycle time reports, precast members delivery and erection schedules, formwork design and erection inspections
Arranged inspections on-site with quality inspectors and consultant representatives and to ensure that work is followed as per project specifications and design drawings
Ensured that site activities are carried out as per company’s HSE policy and participated in management site walks to close out any NCR
Complete knowledge and practical experience of the Piling works, Shoring Works (Secant Wall), Strut installation, Anchoring works, Vibro replacement and compaction, Soil Stabilization, Static load testing of the piles, Anchor Testing, Bi-directional static load test, High strain dynamic load tests, Plate load and Zone load test for stone columns and CPT.
Independent project handling including overall management, communication and inspection, site supervision, resource and material management.
Conferred with Supervisory Personnel, Consultants, Contractors and design professionals to resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction activities.
Ensured implementation of company quality control procedures. Raise, review and close out non-conformance reports.
Managed rig instrumentation record, prepared daily and weekly cost and progress reports, record as-build information.
Checked and coordinated with purchase department in accordance with material availability in stock/workshop and follow up with workshop for equipment repairs.
Involvement in project claims/variations in coordination with Contracts Manager and QS
Liaised with design and site team to purpose suitable static test arrangements which fulfill required test loads, logistic constraints and project specifications.
Coordinated with the Technical director of BAUER to tackle on ground problems in testing and look for improvisations.
Prepared and analyzed test results on piles in accordance with design requirements.
