Responsible for managing overall operations of Marine Hull (including Ship Building risks) & Aviation Hull Departments.
major responsibilities are;
• Marine & Aviation Hull underwriting (includes generation of Debit Notes, Credit Notes, Cover Notes, Policies etc.).
• Evaluation and settlement of marine & Aviation hull claims (general average, particular average etc.).
• Appointment of Government approved Surveyors.
• General Insurance accounting software.
• Arrangement of Facultative and Treaty Reinsurance covers of Marine Hull, Energy and Aviation Hull.
• Reinsurance placement (local and Foreign Markets).
• Arrangement of short term reinsurance covers e.g. Additional War Risk, Kidnap & Ransom and Loss of Hire risk cover.
• Preparation of Renewal Information i.e. Loss Ratios, Risk Profiles etc.
• Liaison with Brokers, Re-insurer, treaty partners, clients and regulator (SECP & MOC).
• Close liaison with the Loss Adjuster of Hull claims and subsequently recovery from the Re-insurers.
• XOL recoveries and reinstatement's.
• Premium Bordeaux, Claim Bordeaux and monthly Performance evaluation report.
• Knowledge of policy wordings/extensions/ clauses/ warranties.
• Insurance/Reinsurance Accounting and Statistical works etc.
• Worked on several car and ear projects of dams, nuclear power plants, roads etc., acquired reinsurance coverage from abroad.
