Design of EPC Package for Expansion of Jubail 8AB Substation (380kV/115kV) for Royal Commission, includes design drawings, PTS, Cost Estimate & Request for Proposal (RFP).
Modification of existing power supply scheme and ETAP study for Emergency Backup Power Supply for King Abdullah Uni. Of Sci. & Tech. (KAUST)
ETAP Load Flow and Short Circuit Studies for SWCC Pump/Terminal Stations. • Designing Infrastructure based Electrical Power Systems of projects for Royal Commission-Jubail.
RC scope of designing includes MV power distribution for investor lots in industrial area, road lighting, lift stations, relocating existing OHTLs as per the latest infrastructure design.
Coordinating with lead engineers to maintain right methodology of electrical RC/SEC standards and with other departments to eliminate conflicts.
Supervising Engineers and Designers to ensure accurate representation of designed drawings and preparing technical MV/LV calculations, documentations i.e. DBR, PID, ICD etc. of the designed project. Efficiently resolving RC/SEC comments to achieve project approved drawings.
Supervising electrical department at KAP-01 Site 302 TERKHAIL JAIL client Ministry of Interior.
Leading activities on building lighting systems, small/heavy power, transformers, wiring and cabling of MV and LV along with procuring required electrical equipment and material.
Managing project schedule and progress report using project Management skills to prioritize tasks accordingly.
Maintaining prolific coordination with other departments.
Site engineer at Al-Jomiah bottling plant PEPSI CO. refurbishment project at multiple sites.
Using technical knowledge to disable and activate electrical system during controlled demolition and reconstruction of PEPSI CO. building at factory site.
Maintaining safety and quality standards while also focusing on project progress.
1.Supervising electrical testing for activities i.e megger, High potential test, Polarity and continuity test etc.
2. Calculating and verifying load calculations for electric panels to determine load schedule.
3. Implementing and assuring safety standard are being achieved in accordance with SAUDI ARAMCO.
4. Interpreting electrical drawings and carrying out changes as required to confirm red-line diagrams.
5. Corresponding with Quality and Aramco Engineers through out project activities to assure progress is on schedule.
While working at Saud Consult I was able to gain experience in electrical designing of infrastructure and multipurpose building with a team of professional and experts.Therefore I was able gain skills and apply my theoretical knowledge at same time.Using software like AutoCAD systems were designs which suited the client’s requirements.Analyzing load and power requirements, along with automated systems such as automatic power transfer to backup generators in high priority buildings e.g. hospitals.Calculations of load, circuit breakers etc was done on excel using various formulas.During this I was able to learn the importance of technical standards and how to implement it efficiently.Using this experience & knowledge I will be able to implement while working in multiple sectors of company including transmission, distribution, residential and transportation.Overall I was able to gain leadership, networking and communication skills along with improving my knowledge on advancement on green technology for betterment of environment.
