To oversee all on site project activity to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget and in accordance with engineering design and client requirements. approval of vendors quotations and invoices, working close with procurement department to ensure availability of raw materials on time, staff development and to ensure safety compliance at site, Drawing up specification for items of work, Preparation of Tender / B O Q, Floating of tenders, prepartion of comparitive statement of bids received, evaluation of Bids / Tenders received
Directing the sub ordinates and co ordinate the construction activities at site, cost control.Budgetting. monitoring schedules, developing model to predict the usage of funds, Analyzing sub contractors quotations, and its finilization, vendor management, holding meeting with site engineers, coordination with client and design team, to arrive at measures to increase the productivity of work force, analysing benefit cost ratio....etc
handling of al activities of construction, Preparing reports, forseeing risks or snags if any, coordinate with consultants, sub contractors, close monitoring of schedules, Budgetting, client management, working close with materials procurement and man power suppliers, Holding meeting with all connected with the project to clear any hurdles if any and arriving at solution to the issues ...etc
