•Develop and implement strategies to improve bottom line by monitoring GMROF (gross margin per square feet), productivity and operational cost optimization.
•Know our customers by interacting with the customers on the sales floor and observing shopping behavior’s, and associate/customer experience.
•Set high expectations for excellent customer service and hold the management team accountable to the measurable results associated.
•Ensure the overall people plan of the stores reflects high standards, bench and succession planning, coupled with consistent mentoring and people development.
•Responsible to maintain a current career path/associate assessment overview of each store team, and the area as an operating unit.
•Accountable to ensure that trends of underperformance are formally addressed, with clear and documented performance improvement plans.
•Manage store management teams towards acceptable store operations/audit compliance scores.
•Strategize innovatively to increase market share.
•Responsible for keeping stores shrinkage below -0.50%.
•Formulate liquidation plans and devise markdown strategies for various categories and brands.
•Increase customer entry through incentives during off peak customer entry time and tie-ups for customer crossover.
