Responsible to coordinate & follow up with a multidisciplinary team of operation, maintenance, engineering, inspection, project, shops & support services, etc. to achieve the milestones for the turnaround planning & execution phases.
• Identify the resources, contracts required to execute the approved final scope of work. Draw out an execution plan following the best practices.
• Lead the team of materials/Supervisors to ensure that all the resources are available on or before time.
• Perform assigned duties and responsibilities as part of the approved turnaround execution chart.
• Monitor and track the deviation between the plan and actual. Record the areas of improvement for the future and prepare the post-turnaround report and organize the critique meeting.
Handling all Piping technical queries and investigating all field pipe work related problems, including the drawing of field sketch work necessary.
• Coordinating with Engineering and Construction and liaise with the client on detail Engineering Requirement.
• Develop Construction Engineering Technology in Line with Company policy and procedures.
• Elaborate Construction feasibility Analysis evaluating the available Materials & drawings.
• Responsible for Piping Erection operations and pipe support installations in accordance with schedule, Procedures, Specification, Priorities and availability of construction Drawings.
• Ensure the Productivity and Quality is maintained by Sub Contractor .Co Ordinate with other disciplines at site.
• Assist Design department in solving Piping Modification and Technical Problems in the Field.
• Provide Technical answers to Engineering Queries raised up by the sub-Contractor confirming Design drawings and standard Specification.
• Responsible for counter checking by isometric/Piping Plan for the spools erected in the correct location, Orientation, alignment and plumpness.
• Coordinating with Engineering and Construction and liaise with the client on detail Engineering Requirement.
• Preparation of construction site and home office based documents/specifications.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction contractors.
• Ensure that contractors comply with all aspects of the Worksite HSE Plan and policy; site regulations, permit to work and Client requirements.
• Ensure that construction contractors adhere to the latest approved for construction project drawings, specifications, procedures, and site instructions.
• Maintain daily supervisory surveillance checks and records ensuring that contractor’s management and supervision are providing safe working conditions and permitting procedures, all required competent personnel, protective equipment, adequate supervision, and manpower, with reliable, well maintained equipment to execute the contracted works as per contract schedule and targets.
• Routinely study, check, and review all contractor scope as detailed in drawings, specifications, and instructions, ensuring contractor’s proper interpretation and compliance with the lasted AFC drawings and specifications.
• Ensure proper change control by issuing Field Instructions for all changes, reviewing Technical Queries to ensure responses are appropriate and practical and reviewing Advanced Revision notices prior to issue to contractors to ensure correct use of construction resources.
• Ensure that contractors are working in the required work areas, locations and elevations and that work sequence and interfaces with other contractors are both co-ordinate and planned to provide continuos working to meet contract schedules.
• Ensure that all quality control checks and tests are instigated, with records maintained and available and area release in accordance with contractors ITP.
• Agree method statements and JSA's. Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the agreed method statements.
• Ensure that a risk assessment has been undertaken and agreed prior to commencement of any new type of work activity.
• Responsible for carrying out Mechanical clearance, Conducting Hydro and Pneumatic tests, fulfilling commissioning and pre-commissioning requirements for the project.
• Responsible for line checking after Hydro test to complete the post punch list prior to sign off the test package before signing the completion of piping/Mechanical.
• Ensure that the Reinstatement is done as per procedure.
• Attend Contractor progress meetings as required.
It is one of the Asia’s largest Dry Cargo Bulk Terminal with the capacity of 33 MMTPA with belt speed of 4.5 m/sec for conveyors & 7.5 m/s for the High Speed Conveyors & 4 stacker and reclaimer.The Capacity of the Belt is 6000 TPH. It Has 3 Silos for Truck Loading Capacity (1500 MT) & 2 Silos for Wagon Loading System Capacity (4000 MT). Another Silo with the capacity of 3000 MT for feeding the coal to ADANI POWER LIMITED with the Belt Conveyors
Responsibilities
•Project Management and coordination with construction team, supply items, drawings receiving from design departments and issuing to contractors
•Studying of Drawings with respect to GA for Fabrication, Painting, Erection and clarify the queries to contractor with coordination of design department.
•Construction supervision for conveyor and tower Erection and Inspection and given quality assurance for fabricated steel structures
•Prepare the project reports for fabrication, Welding visual Inspection, Erection protocol, material procurement and material reconciliation
•To execute the sequence work maintain the overall coordination with fabrication, Painting, Erection & Equipment and commissioning
•Fabricate the steel structures with respect to drawings
•Arranging stage wise inspection and rectifying the problems to get certified from client and preparing fit up report and getting approved from client
