Steered efforts in the construction of 2 no potable water tank foundations, 10 no packaged substations and lift stations A & B for sewage collection. Created services mark-up drawings for permit application for various trenches in KCC. Ensured adherence with health and safety protocols whilst monitoring of the quality of site works and conditions. Prepared method statements, drafted and shared work plans with civil supervisors. Monitored site work progress whilst complying with approved work program schedule and the man-power histogram. Managed the excavation, post padding, and back filling of electrical/ instrument cables along with telecom trenches.
• Led the construction of diesel generator set foundations which include, diesel tanks (4 no), day tanks (9 no), DG set (9 no), lube oil pump and tank, skid mounted diesel pump, and drain oil collection pit foundations.
• Performed duties as a construction civil engineer on all civil works within block 61 KCC camp, including sewage manhole construction, GWO kitchen/diner, as well as laundry and recreation foundations.
• Minimised cost of engineering on Khazzan project site by carrying out site engineering operations.
• Supervised the placement of about 4km length chain-link security fence around the camp.
• Headed the construction of temporary camp and office facilities as well as storage and fabrication yards.
• Liaised with the client to complete camp and office layout plan for the accommodation of 600 contractors’ and 40 clients’ employees on site.
• Designed and drafted the foundations for the contractor’s (AIP) warehouse on the site.
