• Responsible for the lifecycle of substantial number of assignees (1000+ per year) based in the UAE, KSA and Qatar.
• Responsible for the end-to-end visa and immigration process for employee transfers, foreign and local hires, and interns in UAE.
• Ensure that medical insurance enrolments and renewals for employees and assignees are effectively managed.
• Efficiently manage vital international assignments and internal policy advisory and queries, keeping informed on all aspects of the assignment/ transfer process, such as immigration, tax, payroll, etc.
• Responsible in ensuring that employment contracts/benefit sheets are aligned with internal policy and provisions.
• Manage and advise employees on different global mobility policy types and ensure compliance with both internal and external policy guidelines.
• Identifying and engaging with Project stakeholders understanding their needs and managing their expectations throughout the Project.
• Supporting the business with project management, work force planning and budgeting.
• Prepare cost estimates for projects and track costs throughout the assignment term and monitor payroll related matters.
• Serve as internal Business Partner for the business to understand its needs, and support in effective planning and executing the vision.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with immigration tax and legal regulations in different countries to minimize legal and financial risks for both employee and the company.
• Address escalations and operational improvement activities for the region using a hands-on approach.
• Identify, implement process improvements, and contribute to the enhancement of Mobility programs.
• Collaborate with external service providers such as relocation, destination services and immigration providers to ensure smooth execution and deliver comprehensive assignment/transfer related services were applicable.
• Collaborate with HR, legal, finance and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of global mobility processes with overall HR and business strategies.
• Prepared quarterly business reports and data analysis on immigration volumes for employees and their dependents in the Middle East. This encompasses processing, new visa applications, renewals, and cancellations of various work visa types, including golden visas, mission visa, business visa, labour card, entry service visa, temporary work permit, short term visit visa etc.
• Meetings and events:
• Provided support in consulting, advising, and executing complex meeting and event experiences.
• Assisted in managing and coordinating the efforts of local agencies, overseeing processes from initiation, contract signing to final deliverables.
• Facilitated the management of relationships and collaboration with internal teams and service providers to ensure competitive costs and consistent service delivery, including resolution of escalations.
• Supported in managing event budgets, obtaining signoffs and approvals, and completing procurement processes such as invoice review, deposits, purchase orders, billing, and final reconciliation.
