Participates in the on- going training and developmental program of the department.
Takes responsibility of his/her own professional conduct.
Protects patient's confidentiality in accordance with hospital policy.
Gives direct nursing care.
Identifies nursing needs of patient; plans, gives and evaluates nursing care.
Admits and discharges patients.
Provides/ maintains adequate facilities, equipment and supplies necessary for good patient care for the unit.
Facilitate the recovery process through patient and family education with a focus on pre/ post operative procedures, prevention, medication, and pain management techniques.
