Works within Dubai Airports section that manages the proper implementation of fit-out works carried out by Dubai Airports or its stakeholders.
Manages compliance of Contractors for the successful implementation that all fit-out works are in line with the standard processes and procedures implemented by Dubai Airports and the different departments.
Monitors strict adherence of relevant parties involved during the delivery process to ensure that smooth operations of the airport is not disturbed, yet being able to complete the project in a timely manner.
Conducts regular site inspections for work progress of each projects, and making sure it is implemented based on approved drawings and materials and as per the work program.
Coordinates with the relevant sections and resolves issues that occur during the fit-out construction works so as to align with the project timeline and ensure delivery within quality and budget targets.
Prepare weekly reports to update Management and to monitor milestone dates of each project.
Secure the proper and complete handover documents in accordance to Dubai Airports’ requirements for project closeout.
Authoritative personnel for the fit-out works carried out throughout all destinations established by the Company.
Inspect lease unit premises to verify LOD’s and base built provisions; coordinates with the Department for required actions to complete Landlord’s provisions in preparation for the physical unit handover to Tenants.
Schedules and conducts kick-off/induction meetings to Tenants and Fit-out Contractors; issues necessary LOD’s and fit-out forms, also discusses the fit-out requirements and processes.
Manage detail drawing review and approvals of Tenant’s design submittals and provide advices to the interior design in compliance with the guidelines of the Company; assist them as well in the statutory Authority standard regulations for the timely completion of the project.
Does regular site visits to monitor and ensure quality of works as per the standards set by the Company and based on the Landlord’s approved design; ensures health and safety measures are strictly followed on site.
Facilitates required inspections during the fit-out stages during the course of the fit-out works.
Liaise and coordinates regularly with the Tenants and Fit-out Contractors for any site and fit-out concerns and schedule meetings as required.
Oversee the fit-out work completion is in accordance with approved timeline.
Developed various architectural detail drawings for commercial spaces, offices and other retail establishments.
Coordinates with sub-contractors for special supply of furniture.
RAssists the Chief Interior Designer with all the necessary architectural shop drawings, joinery works, and documents for the project. Selection of furniture for the interior design, and making mood boards for Client presentation and approval.
Makes BOQ's for tender of new project proposals. Reviews all drawings and coordinates for the site implementation, and resolves all issues for efficient completion.
Coordinates project from lot acquisition, initial feasibility study, concept design to design development, completion of the construction, and turnover. Manage a team of technical officers as Design Officers assigned from onset of the project development.
• Secures project documentation. Prepares design intent and
coordinates with Foreign Consultant.
• Reviews and check design development drawings and
construction drawing & attends regular coordination
meetings with Owner and trade contractors for proper implementation.
• Coordinates with Owner/construction management and all appointed
disciplinary consultants (Interior Design, Architectural Design, Graphics
Lighting Design, Structural & MEPF) from the schematic stage to final
construction drawings.
• Develop feasibility & construction budget and schedules to meet project
objectives.
• Supervise and direct the production of construction documents, drawings,
estimates, bidding, negotiates, procurement and delivery of owner supplied
materials.
• Monitor construction of the building so that standards are ensured, quality of
work is up to par and the work schedule and deadlines are met.
• Formulates mall standards, store criteria and tenancy plans for lease awards.
• Foresee possible issues or concerns that may arise and plan actions/
measures/ solutions to solve and or prevent them depending on the given
situations.
• Develop possible design solutions and resolve architectural items that need
decisions.
• Review and analyze items for Owner’s approval. Present, discuss, deliberate
items for approval and key issues to the Owner.
• Conduct post project evaluation.
Completed the 5-year course of Architecture, with all the essential factors that comprises the complexity of the field. From concept designs and solutions, project management, design coordination, drafting and architectural drawings, structural and mep analysis, and even up to date with all the innovations and solutions that can be used for resolving design issues.
