1- To prepare welding procedures specifications and supporting proceudure qualification records. (WPS & PQR)
2- To conduct qualification tests of welder at shop and site.
3- To monitor the welding consumables and ancillaries for correct storage, control and usage as per approved WPS, PQR & applicable standards.
4- To lead a team of QC Inspectors who have been assigned to inspect all types of welding and NDE activities going on at site.
5- To supervise team responsible for documentation of test packages for testing of piping sub-systems.
6- Final review of documentation and NDE to ensure requirements of client specs. and applicable standards have been fulfilled before sending the package for client review.
4- Liase with client personnel to remove any problems found during review of package.
3- To witness and monitor applicable testing of packages which have been released for testing.
4- Conduct walkdowns of restored piping sub-systems whose testing has been sucessfully completed; punch listing of points observed during the walk down in their respective category as per client specs.
5- Site visit to verify that observed point have been closed.
6- Mechanical completion walkdown of piping systems, which have been mechanically completed including all relative rotary & stationary equipment
and associated piping.
7- To monitor the flushing and blowing activities of piping systems before final box up.
