• Initiate and facilitate cross functional meetings to support in conceptualizing,
implementation and post analysis of various strategic initiatives across the company to
drive the future strategies and vision of the company.
• Pro-actively follow-up, track and report key projects, as assigned from time to time to
ensure completion within the committed timeliness.
• Evaluate the business and financial feasibility of the initiatives/projects identified by the
management and advise on the options to consider.
• Facilitate the decision making process of key strategic projects and initiatives.
• Support in the pre and post analysis of all the projects undertaken, across the functions.
• Support in facilitating and co-ordinating completion of projects undertaken.
• Help in creating presentations, analysis and other reports for the management at different
agreed upon timelines.
• Work as key member in the Emtel FINTECH project for the launch of the blink mobile
app. The main responsibilities are liaising with the Bank of Mauritius (BoM) for the PSP
license application, testing of all the features and functionalities of the app, potential
suggestions for improvements on the app, tracking of the key issues for the customers and
merchants, planning of the event launch, working on the international money remittance
(IMR) license.

Relationship Management

• Responsible for the successful delivery, co-ordination of projects and management of
their inter-dependencies, including oversight of any risks and issues arising. Coordinate
internal resources for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and
ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and
costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed

• Participate in workshops with the technical team to analyse the

• Responsible for drafting detailed specifications and unit test as per the
functional specifications provided.
• Implement specific developments on SAP ABAP objects (Reports, Interfaces (Idocs,
Flat Files, Smartform) within the budget and the deadline provided.
• Execute unit tests from beginning to end in order to secure the roll-outs
Provide technical support during user acceptance test.
• Responsible for Material Management and Sales and Distribution customizing tasks
• Active involvement in the whole life cycle of a software development project such as
analysis, design, implementation, testing as well as maintenance phases.
• Coach junior team members and ensure that they ramp-up on SAP skills (once
a sound knowledge of the project is acquired)
• Respect best practices (norms and project standards) in order to guarantee the
quality of the work and deliverables
• Assist the Project Manager on the technical feasibility of the developments and the
quality of the deliverable
• Report to the Project Manager based on the frequency set on the project as often as
necessary
