Responsible for Incoming Quality Inspection.
•Monitoring and control of assembly process of various communication equipments in the vehicle.
•Generating and closing of Discrepancy report for Non conformance observed in Incoming and Assembly process.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
•Responsible for Incoming Quality of Raw material, Semi finished products and Bought out parts (BOP).
•Verifying all performance test report and material test certificates of Incoming Products/Materials.
•Cross verify the raw materials through Third Party Inspection as per the plan-Supplier wise.
•Taking Corrective and Preventive actions for supplier Negative issues through 8D & action reports.
•Preparing Supplier Quality ratings and communicate the same to them and taking necessary action on low rated supplier’s to increase their quality rating level.
•Improving Supplier Quality through Awareness program, Regular visits and Audits.
•Responsible for In process quality control by providing Setup approval, First off sample & Hourly Inspection reports of all the production process.
•Conducting Statistical Process Control (SPC) for in process running products.
•Co ordinate with production team to find and implement the Corrective and Preventive actions (CAPA) for In house Non Conformance (NC’s) and monitoring its effectiveness until the NC was closed else go for other CAPA until the NC was prevent from its recurrence.
•Responsible for Final Product Inspection and allocating jobs to final inspector.
•Reporting NC’s of final inspection products to concern department and taking CAPA for the same.
•Verifying Dock audit, Pre dispatch Inspection (PDI) and Layout Inspection report on daily basis.
•Customer Complaint Handling through Telephonic, Mail and visiting directly to the customer end.
•Participate with Cross Functional Team (CFT) to provide CAPA or 8D for Customer Complaint and closing it effectively by continual monitoring of action plans.
•Giving awareness to operators and helpers regarding NC’s from Customer/In house through Quality Alerts, Defect chart, Limit/Defect Samples.
•Continuous monitoring of Action plan given for Supplier, In house and Customer Issue’s.
•Updating PPAP documents for changes in the process if any.
•Responsible to maintain the list of Measuring and Monitoring Equipments and ensure their calibration status as per the frequency.
•Conducting Measurement System Analysis (MSA) for Inspectors, Instruments and Gauges as per plan.
• Preparation of monthly reports like cost of poor quality (COPQ), Customer wise PPM trend chart, Rejection Analysis (PARETTO), Customer complaint register and No. of open Quality Issues etc.
• On Job Training (OJT) for new Inspectors/Helpers/Operators and updating the same in Skill Matrix.
• Making pictorial work Instruction, QSP for Critical processes.
•Supporting to NPD team to prepare PFD, PFMEA & CP for new parts development.
•Coordinating & conducting manufacturing process & product audits.
•Continual improvement Activities to enhance the QMS, such as 7QC Tools, KAIZEN, POKE YOKE & 5S.
•Day to Day activity reporting to Assistant Manager - Quality through DWM.

•Awarded for reducing In house rejection PPM from 13000 to 5500.

•Conducting daily meeting with associate to share day to day activity, Improvements and concerns.
•In coming inspection of Raw Material and Semi finished products and controlling its NC’s by giving immediate feedback to supplier and taking CAPA from them for the same.
•Performing In Process Inspection of mass producing products through First off sample, setup approval report, hourly Inspection report and last off sample using various measuring instruments and gauges.
•Conducting & monitoring SPC and MSA studies as per plan.
•Performs Final Product Inspection as per sampling plan and generating report for the same.
•Attaining the customer complaints & effective closing by corrective and preventive action report.
