Evaluation of vendors based on price, quality, availability, reliability and technical support.
• Coordinating with Engineering Dept. for generating MTOs.
• Preparing RFQs, TBE (Technical Bid Evaluation), CBE (Commercial Bid Evaluation)
• Negotiating with suppliers
• Cost finalization of new parts based on the target cost
• Cost optimization through part cost benchmarking
• Interface with sales, clients, accounts and suppliers.
• Freezing terms and conditions.
• Purchase Order preparation
• Coordinating with QA dept. for approval of vendors’ QAPs.
• Arranging for Third Party Inspections.
• Procurement Planning, Expedition, Scheduling Deliveries
• Cost Data management For RM updating on quarterly basis.
• Documentation preparation (Review, reports, feedbacks).
• Coordination with inventory management team.
• Preparation of monthly reports and delivery schedule.
• Coordinating and dispatching of outbound logistics
• Handling the logistic vendors.
• Preparing and submitting the clearance documents.
Responsible for the introduction of externally procured component parts and materials via the selection and appraisal of Suppliers in accordance with procedures.
•Responsible for achievement of project goals (cost, quality, deadlines).
•To work on introduction of new projects with cross functional teams both internally and internationally.
•Building excellent knowledge of mechanical components, system and manufacturing processes.
•Driver for Advanced Quality Planning and final release of purchased parts ensuring process stability throughout.
•Play a key role in Supplier technical meetings.
•Simultaneous Engineering for new product development.
•Responsible for investigations of alternative materials, processes and technologies and their implementation into the business.
•Provide technical support to the Commercial Buyers.
•Participate in the Continuous Improvement Process.
•Other general projects or Purchase Engineering duties as necessary
Completed PGDM in Management Studies and selected Enterprise Resources Planning(ERP) and Supply chain Management (SCM) as specialization.
