• Work with the team leader and team colleagues to improve processes and develop business opportunities to harness the full potential in the department • Assumes and performs other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, as requested • Work independently in the absence of supervision and to manage the team as acting supervisor on behalf of the team leader • Acts as a resource for co-workers for information, problem solving, and reducing errors • Anticipates and provides assistance on potential challenges that may arise for the customer • Provide thorough, friendly, and effective customer service to all clients during the booking process via calls and emails • Provide UAE visa and visa change assistance via phone and email • Manage group and individual flight reservation using GDS systems and online booking tools • Handles all follow-up communications with clients to determine best possible solution for problems. Escalates problems to supervisor if agent does not have solution to problem • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
• Ensure exclusive delivery of travel services to the assigned corporate (construction, Oil, Pharmaceutical companies, Embassies etc.) as well as walk-in
• Initiate ticket bookings as per the travel requirements of the clients in line with the company policies, rule of the Airline and Suppliers.
• Handling all types of International and Domestic routings, issuance, faring, refund, reissue, itinerary changes, Hotel bookings, Insurance and all other travel related queries.
• Ensure the coordination with other departments like sales, holidays, finance and HR if needed.
• Arrange all special requirements from the customers like seat assignment, meals, Limo service, Wheelchair, and Unaccompanied minor requests.
• Give alternative travel details when sending quotations in proper format of quotations with instructed corporate rates and with all terms and conditions of the booking
• Follow up with clients if the quotation meets the client’s expectation and explain or negotiate; and ensure that the enquiry is converted into business
• Check the queues (on daily basis) and recheck before the end of the day
• Recheck before the travel date and ensure that the required services of customers are arranged properly
• Develop and maintain professional relationship with customers and provide services in a satisfactory way
• Develop and maintain professional relationship with different airlines in ethical manner
• Ensure compliance with company's procedures for documentation, ticketing, reissuing, voids, and refunds.
• Working on latest Global Distribution Systems(GDS)like Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre and Online booking tools (B2B) for low-cost carriers.
• Making Invoices on daily basis
• Airline Reservations and Ticketing both International and Domestic
• Handling walking clients and sub agents
• Issuing, Reissuing and Refunding tickets using GDS
• Negotiating with Airlines for fares and queries.
• To invoice tickets on daily basis using BSP
