Job Responsibilites:-
Currently Working as IDC Engineer in SIFY Technologies Limited.
Maintaining 100% uptime of Level 3 Data Center
Handling Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management for
the customer Calls.
Physically troubleshooting on the Router and Switches
Worked on other servers like HP, Sun, IBM etc.
Monitoring of Temperature and power inside the Data Center
Providing support for Net vault backup.
Hosting of Customer and Internal servers inside Data Center
Monitoring the Alerts in Customer and Internal servers
Monitoring all infrastructure devices, servers and applications using Beacon and
Performance monitoring tools
Maintaining the Datacenter Infra devices like UPS, PAC, WLD, Fire Suppression,
Environment monitoring device, CCTV, DVR, Access control System, Rodent Control
System, PDU, DB, CB & monitoring physical alarm system
Enabling SNMP to all Infra Devices to monitor their connections & thresholds.
Calendar for Business continuity plan.
Coordinating with vendor & internal teams for Preventive maintenance & Change
management.
Creating Disaster recovery planning documents for all Datacenter Infra devices.
Coordinating for performing Disaster Recovery as planned.
Configuration of Bandwidth and data transfer for the customer.
Network capacity and utilization monitoring
Monitoring the Internet Traffic Load on network links through Beamon Monitoring
tool (Sify built)
Infrastructure Maintenance.
Capacity planning for new Requirements to Host customer/Services in Internet
Datacenter.
Logical Segmentation management for new customer requirement.
Verification of hosting customer Backup Directory.
Reporting Monthly Data Transfer to Order processing group for billing purpose.
Identifying Customer missing services and coordinating with transition for
documenting the reason for deviation.
Maintaining Escalation Matrix for Customer, Vendor, Internal & External Teams.
Creating Web trend Report for customers with the provided Weblogs.
Monthly service wise & Infrastructure reports to customer.
Coordinating for Analysis of Service Level Agreement & Operation Level
Agreement.
Reporting Datacenter capacity planning to management.
Monitoring the CPU, Memory utilization & Network utilization of the servers.
Designing & implementing time bound, turnkey projects with logistics and technical
coordination with customers and vendors.
Upkeep of required records as per quality standards such as ISO - 9001:2008,
ISO/IEC- 27001: 2005 & ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005.
Implementation & Maintenance of new customer network & security infrastructure
as per their requirements
Co-ordination with teams and customer for various activities via Ticketing Tool.
Maintaining all environment-building equipments i.e. Air-Conditioning, electrical,
UPS, DG sets, fire detection, alarm & suppression systems, access control systems
