Project : Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) - New Gathering Station (GC-30) project
To verify the Implementation of project quality procedure and maintain the procedures at site.
•Ensuring the departmental procedures is being implementation and they meet the requirements.
•During construction, surveillance of contractor’s final stabilization of the project
•Ensure site personnel follow the Quality Assurance system and assist in training of site personnel in the QA/QC system
•Controlling of all QC personnel’s and conducting meeting with client and construction management personnel’s to resolve QC related issues.
•Preventing and monitoring of NCR’s, client Log Book Entry (LBE) and quality surveillance reports (QSR proactive report) etc
Witness and inspection of Work activities at site and ensuring the material is being used, as per approved material submittal, Procedures and as per AFC drawing.
•Ensuring the departmental procedures is being implementation and they meet the requirements.
•Perform inspection for all civil related activities as per the approved inspection & test plan.
•Witnessing of survey work of civil activities, all laboratory sample testing & review all test reports as per the relevant codes & project specifications.
•Checking of on-going activities that work being executed according with standard, work procedures & specification.
•Verify all corrective action on noted nonconformities for closeout.
•Review procedures & Method statement for all civil activities.
•During construction, surveillance of contractor’s final stabilization of the project.
•Review all the Quality documents prepared by contractor for final dossier.
•Initiate record or provide solutions for quality problems.
•Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformance.
•Review corrective actions recommended in non-conformance reports, initiate and verify corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of non-conformity.
•Ensure site personnel follow the Quality Assurance system and assist in training of site personnel in the QA/QC system.
•Comply with all safety instructions and standing instructions.
General QA/QC Responsibilities
•Prior to construction thoroughly familiar with the terms and conditions of the state issued site permit, natural resources protection permit or both,
•Preparation of Method statement and ITP for Construction Activities for Different Stage of activities as per ISO 9001:2000 QMS Essential Procedure
•Prior to construction thoroughly familiar with the proposed construction schedule including the timing for installing and removing erosion controls, the timing for constructing and stabilizing any basins or ponds, and the deadlines for completing stabilization of disturbed soils
•Ensuring that all Exception Items (Punch List) items related to Civil are completed (Test Package) as per client requirements.
•Ensuring that Civil measuring Equipment are appropriate stored and handled
•During construction, the inspector will prepare and submit weekly (or other frequency ) inspection reports
•Preparation of Method statement and ITP for Construction Activities for Different Stage of activities as per ISO 9001:2000 QMS Essential Procedure
•Co-ordination with a team of Sr. QA/QC engineers of different discipline to ensure proper work being followed.
•Reviewing test reports, Documentation and filing of paper works as per client requirements.
•Preparation of Inspection Disposition Reports.
•Coordination with client Inspection Representative
