I was working as Project Manager in IBM’s Project Services Division in India for managing our US Clients Remote IT Infrastructure Projects by working in US shift time from India. During my 6+ years of working with IBM, I had executed large number of IT Infrastructure Data Migration and Application and Version Upgrade Projects using Virtualization, SAN Storage Migration, DR & OffSite Backup, Database and Application Migration projects including SAP ERP6 Upgrade etc. I had successfully executed about 30+IT infrastructure projects during the above period using both traditional as well as agile methodologies like Scrum/Kanban etc. Many of my projects had also gone for CSAT 5/5 score feedback from many of my customers during my tenure with IBM.I am also accredited with IBM experienced level certification for IT Infrastructure domain in addition to my other certifications like PMP/PMI-ACP/Prince2agile etc.I had worked extensively on large Oracle database migration projects as well as product release upgrade using MS SQL/DB2 upgrade projects etc.I had also participated in number of data migration projects using IBM SAN storage as well as in Application data migration from legacy applications.
Pivotal in executing MES project for fully automated one Million Tonnes per Annum of Cold-Rolling/CTL line of our client JSW Steel Ltd, Bellary, Karnataka.Also implemented Oracle ERP applications for their Oracle Purchase/ Inventory/Order Management/AP/AR/GL Modules for their Cement Operating Unit.
I was Working on company’s Quality Management initiative and got our company ISO 9001:2008 certified as MR in six months during Apr-Sep, 2009 and had taken our company for such important milestone for success while driving such quality Processes both for delivery as well as in support.
Instrumental in enhancing production process and prime Quality & Yield of CRCA/CRFH Material for all Domestic & Export Orders.
Dexterously resolved issues related to Computer/Physical Stock mismatch and barcode stickers related issues that were got corrected due to my efforts through effective reporting to plant personnel through cause & effect analysis done by me during this period.

Significant contribution in implementation of Oracle 11i E-Business Suite of ERP in this Steel Manufacturing company for modules like Order Management, Purchase & Inventory, OPM & Costing, Financials with India Localisation etc.
Effectively provided Oracle AppsDBA / System Admin. / Data Centre Infrastructure and Support for Oracle Apps production instance & had completed training in Oracle 11i Apps DBA from Oracle India Education.

Steered the End-to-End implementation of ERP in the company, both production & quality process got enhanced and company had acquired more export orders and sales turn-over got improved. More shop-floor personnel of factory got involved in this ERP implementation due to which less customer complaints and good prime quality of finished goods got manufactured.
Took the IT Infrastructure initiatives like handling PC’s/Laptops/Printers/LAN/WAN etc to almost 250 PC’s/number of thin clients / barcode/LaserJet printers with effective service & technical support for all users for Hardware / Software/ERP and Email issues etc.
Got 3 promotions from Sr. Manager Position at the time of joining to General Manager Position at the time of leaving.
Overseeing statistical data & analysis of plant operation like Production, Dispatches, Accounting, MIS, etc including Software Development for Statistical Applications. Developed Transportation Mathematical Model for this Cement Plant using Linear Programming & Operation Research Techniques.
Functioned as Project Lead & implemented Oracle RDBMS Stores-Purchase/ Maintenance Management System at their Rajasthan-Cement Plant.
Dexterously developed full fledged White Cement Sales Accounting Software using dbase III+ software supporting about 50 users of this package on all-India basis.
Also overseeing entire IT infrastructure & Support for all Cement Head Office Users
Highlights:
Effectively designed Mathematical Transportation Model for minimizing their monthly outward freight payment to railways and road transporters by optimally distributing cement from factory on different rail / road combination to different sales branches in UP / MP / Rajasthan / Delhi, etc. based on their monthly demand thereby bringing substantial saving for the company in terms of every month freight payment.
Successfully reduced monthly overtime amount on man-power at cement factory.
Awarded quick promotions from Management Trainee position at the time of joining to Manager (MIS) at the time of leaving.
