• Drive profitable operations in the Engineering Information Management (EIM) group by leading a team of 4 resources, in projects for development of database-oriented solutions, coordinating front and back end development tasks.
• Lead the development of data analysis modules, including web applications, along with database objects & manage integration of same with front end.
• Conduct Unit & integration tests of the application prior to deployment at client end, to ensure compliance to design quality and adherence to strict time schedules.
• Reported to the Manager EIM and led a team of 4 resources for executing multiple projects for international clients like General Motors & Ford, Magna Electronics, Holcim, etc.
• Participated in gathering/analysis/finalization of business requirements, drafting Source to target mapping document and in database design/flow document.
• Successfully lead the development of data analysis and web application modules, along with database objects.
• Provided oversight to the drafting detail design document of database along with development of the database/SQL statements as per the design.
• Played a key role in the design, development, testing and deployment of various ingenious modules used in the telemetry, telecommand and tracking systems - both air borne and ground based.
• Managed a team of ground-support engineers and managed the development of software in C language, for analysing housekeeping information from the telemetry in real time and displaying various parameters.
• Managed the data acquisition system for a time-critical experiment.
• Played a key role in scheduling shift duties and in the data recording process.
• Developed software modules, in C language, for automating pre-data acquisition procedures, and off-line analysis of the recorded data for housekeeping purposes.
• In addition to the technical duties, also held the administrative position of Officer-in-charge of the High Energy Gamma Ray Observatory, Pachmarhi (M.P) for 10 years, managing the office and staff strength of 25.
