- Ensures that safety is a priority at all levels in the organization.
- Attends daily and emergency safety coordination meetings with co-contractors and the client in whole project operations.
- Advises and assists the senior construction site representatives in the establishment and management of SHARP Management and the CSMS’s identifying and eliminating/
controlling any hazards to persons and property.
- Advises all project personnel and subcontractors regarding safe working practices and to develop safety consciousness.
- Conduct spot checks on activities (Working at heights, lifting operations, Driving, Chemicals, Hot works, excavations etc., ) and ensure all the control measures are implemented.
- Maintain a daily working relationship with the line supervision (CB&I-Clough JV & Sub contractors) in relation of their respective compliance with the provisions of the HSSE policies, HSSE Plan and legal requirements.
- Conducts Site Observations and Interventions (O&I’s) for poor conditions at worksite which primarily possessed a threat to health, life or the physical environment to the project.
- Attends daily toolbox talks jointly carried out by HSE department with the top Management.
- Continuously provide specialist advice and education on safety matters to all project personnel.
- Participate in Incident Investigations and ensure corrective actions are closed with the time frame.
- Coordinate with Emergency Response teams and conduct drills when required.
- Provide regular, reliable reports and data for monitoring HSSE performance.
- Carry out other related duties as advised by the supervisor.
- Ensure that all fire prevention and firefighting systems & equipments are periodically inspected and certified & labeled.
- Ensure effective implementation of EXXON Mobil Permit to Work/ Safe System work in the respective areas.
- Initiates and conducts accident investigation and prepares job accident reports.
- Attends daily and weekly HSSE Committee meetings in the department.
- Reviews and assists work groups in the development of site Job Safety Analyses and Risk Assessments and have monitored their implementation with the site management.
- Audits and inspects jobsite to detect and correct any safety hazards. Continuously report to the notice of immediate management any found potential hazards related to HSSE.
- Working closely with the Client (EXXON MOBIL) HSSE department to ensure high level of readiness to handle fire and other HSSE emergency at all project areas.
- Assists the HSE department manager by conducting appropriate HSE reports (incidents,
accidents and injuries) and other services as required.
- Follow up on corrective actions involving unsafe conditions, accidents and near misses.
Risk Assessment Management
Assist with the implementation of the HSE Strategy on the project.
Lead and motivate the both Consultant and Contractor Safety team.
Ensure compliance with all statutory and client Safety regulations.
Undertake inspections & audits.

agents, following current regulatory drivers and client/corporate expectations is conducted.
Potentially hazardous operations and situations including noise, toxic materials, extremes of
temperatures and humidity, biological agents, and illumination are identified, evaluated, monitored,
and documented.
Recommendations for the control of occupational stressors and operational environments, which can
Affect the wellbeing of personnel are formulated and provided to the management team.
Comprehensive workplace monitoring plans to maintain environmental surveillance of identified health
Hazardous operations or conditions.
