Project: Khazzan Gas Treatment Plant, Central Processing Facility (CPF), Block 61 Oman
Client: BP plc.; Investment Value: $1.2 Billion

 Environmental, sustainability and social responsibility lead on a large Oil & Gas project in Oman, in charge of environmental management system implementation, operational control as well as managing the social impact of the project on the surrounding communities;
 Assurance of regulatory, legal compliance and permitting for Khazzan CPF development;
 Management and supervision of contractors/sub-contractors including training/coaching of local operatives using Key Performance Indicators, auditing, inspections and Management reviews, to achieve full conformity and continuous improvement of EMS performances;
 Ensure full compliance on BP-Petrofac E&C contractual requirements, briefing and assisting the Client in attaining their commitment towards Omani Governmental bodies with regards to environmental and social performance of the Project;
 Managing 4 (four) Environmental Advisors.

Project: Shah Gas Development Program, PKG 2&3
Client: Abu Dhabi Gas Development Co. Ltd. (Al Hosn Gas); Investment Value: $3.5 Billion (PKG 2&3)

 Leadership, responsibility and approval authority for all aspects of H&E including objectives, schedules/ programs, plans, resources, documentation, (ISO14001 & OHSAS18001) and H&E legal compliance, incident response/investigation on the Project;
 Maintain a daily working relationship with the Client, Project HSSE team, line management and subcontractors in relation of their respective duties with the provisions of the Project H&E policies;
 Ensure E&C Divisional and Corporate H&E requirements are communicated to the Project and other relevant personnel and verify the level of compliance;
 Leading /coordinating all internal/external HSE audit plans and their execution including independent HSE audits (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001);
 Leading change and challenge the organization to maintain an appropriate balance between cost, operational objectives and environmental impacts;
 Managing 6 (six) Environmental Supervisors;
 More than $1 500 000 USD returned to company by implementing a real sustainable approach (e.g. waste water reuse, waste recycling and valorization).

Project: 4th NGL Train, Ruwais Refinery
Client: Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd. (GASCO); Investment Value: $2.4 Billion

 Providing field supports and act as leader among equal to coordinate site activities and to ensure compliance and overall HSE performance;
 Implementing HSE programs, procedures, training modules and standards in site areas, ensure alignment between client, corporate HSE requirements and site conditions;
 Assisting in the review of environmental operating permits and assuring compliance with external environmental regulatory requirements;
 Coordinating and providing assistance with field operations regarding waste management, air emissions control, hazardous products/substances management, etc.;
 Reviewing and investigating environmental incidents and permit non-compliances, including working with site functions to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence;
 Participating in the Emergency Response Team to respond to emergencies such as accidents or unplanned releases during construction, pre commissioning and commissioning activities;
 Managing 4 (four) field Environmental officers;
 0 environmental incident or client complains relative to environmental operation; 0 NCR’s at external or internal (corporate) HSE audits; 0 social incidents related to food hygiene or welfare facilities of more than 9000 workers within 16 camps.

Achievements:
QMS certification in accordance with the requirements of TS 16949, and the EMS in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001;
Align CKRO at international Rivo Safeguard reporting system (HSE);

Major responsibilities:
Obtaining and maintaining certifications for management systems in place, maintaining relationships with the certification body (SGS Group);
Representing management in EMS and QMS audits performed by customers or certification bodies;
Maintaining relationships with environmental authorities in law, obtaining the environment authorizations, implementing specific environmental legal requirements;
Support the H&S department on ISO 18001 implementation project;
Agreement signing with providers of environmental services and monitoring activities with environmental impact, performed in CKRO by subcontractors;
Coordinating and verification of outside contractors’ s work, involved in removing or testing the wastes generated in CKRO;
Construction of environmental yearly budget and improvement action related, proposed and followed up;
Participation at QMS /EMS Regional and Global management meetings (London). Active part on implementation of Integrated Management system projects across all CK sites;
Performing environmental and quality inspection on CK’s suppliers, both local and abroad. Performing quality inspection at clients site (Oyak Renault Turkey);

Achievements:
Obtaining environmental permits for all sites (including city water treatment plant for 250 000 users);
Integrated Management system certification (QSE) with 0 nonconformities at certification audit;
Achievement of Ist place in regional contest of low environmental impact companies-2007.

Major responsibilities:
Obtaining and maintaining certifications for management systems in place: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001;
Maintaining relationships with body certification (AFAQ ASCERT International) preparing specific environmental reporting documentation;
Advising on environmental issues in contracts made with business partners, maintaining relationships with legal authorities, water permits, etc.;
Environmental audits performing on all sites, and actions followed up relating to environmental impact control;

Preparing environmental documentation- environmental impact studies and reviews for fuel distribution station (MOL, LUKOIL, ROMPETROL DOWNSTREAM;
Air, water, soil sampling (e.g. VOC technical advice related to technological projects on distribution stations, fuel terminals and warehouses, including facilities, equipment and devices for volatile organic compound emissions recovery); reports for analysis performed, interpretation of analysis results;
Participation in implementation of ISO 17025 requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratory
