REGULAR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct Safety Orientation/Training to all new employees including visitors.
Monitor all safety activities of the company so that Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) program are efficiently carried out.
Identify hazards and evaluate the loss producing potential of a given process
Ensure the adherence to all safety rules and regulation and procedure and stop an operations in case a dangerous circumstances arises until remedial measure are carried out.
Ensure the effective implementation by line management of the safety and loss control program, including traffic safety for the promotion and maintenance of safe and healthful working environment.
Conduct training in the use of evacuation and escape procedures in case of emergencies.
Monitor the implementation of desired safety standards and carrying out of housekeeping programs in the work areas
Conduct routine safety survey/inspection, identify unsafe acts/conditions and practices for corrections by line supervisions.
Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) on all critical jobs including construction and processes.
Monitor implementation of safety measures and procedures such as guard system, tag-out/lock-out procedures, critical work permit system and controlled burning procedures to preclude loss producing incidents.
Carry out site surveys to check unsafe conditions & practices. Conduct risk assessment of company facilities to assess potential hazards as basis for fire protection and accident prevention.
Conduct accident analysis based on accident reports submitted and coordinate with line management’s corrective action to be made.
Participate in the conduct of the emergency preparedness program execution to ensure awareness among workers in case of emergencies.
Implement permit to work system with formal written procedure and formal action to ensure that potentially hazardous activities are carried out as safely as possible.
