Maintain filling system containing all documentation pertaining to organization vehicles
Logbook checking and managing fuel monitoring system
As informed by the security focal point \[SFP\], update drivers of changes in the security situation, if necessary recall them from field sites
Communicate any security information received from the drivers to the security focal point and Logistics manager
Provide Inductions to new drivers on organization vehicle driving policies and ensure that they know all organization work locations
Maintain and update asset register
Warehouse and commodity management; issuing and receiving goods
Establish and maintain stock inventory management system, including stock control and detailed receipt /dispatch records, provide reconciled stock reports
Coordinate with project staff to ensure effective and timely release /dispatch of goods to project site
Ensure documentation and reporting of loses /damages, oversee reconstitution of damaged or short weight commodities and arrange destruction of infested and damaged items
Ensure the fleet is well maintained and available for transport of people and goods, as required
Prepare monthly fleet management and fuel consumption reports
Plan and ensure routine preventive maintenance of vehicles is carried out according to regulations
Estimate, position and monitor appropriate levels of stocks based on estimated needs, operational policy, objectives and priorities, estimated time for replenishment and availability of funds
Procure quality materials, items and services economically from reliable sources
Ensure disposal of condemned and obsolete assets in accordance with the law
Uganda certificate of education examination ,ordinary level.
