I started as a forklift operator, loading and unloading trucks. I also performed warehouse duties such as scanning merchandise with a PDA/SAP, labeling it, and placing it in the warehouse, both on the floor and in racks. After a little over a year, I was promoted to warehouse manager (since I had extensive experience from many other companies), supervising the forklift operators and company drivers, and managing the inventory in the warehouse, its subsequent loading and shipment onto trucks. I was also responsible for issuing delivery notes and CMRs to the drivers and receiving and stamping CMRs and delivery notes. Despite this, I have never stopped working on the front-loading forklift. I operate forklifts of varying tonnage capacities and sizes.
