Working with a global bank in providing business analysis support for Misys Summit application in the area of Regulatory reporting and Risk & Control for the Interest Rates derivatives business.
Risk & Control Project mainly focuses on analysis of risks related to privileged access to Summit HUB. It requires analysis of user connections to the HUB and providing remediation solution if any risks are identified. In certain cases business users are unable to update or retrieve some data/report and request production support to help on same. To avoid this risk, solution has to be provided by this team. In case a solution isn’t possible, need to liaise business, global risk control and/or service resilience & continuity teams to raise dispensations.
Regulatory Project involves providing business analysis support to HSBC’s Regulatory Reporting IT team for various global regulators like CFTC, SEC, ESMA and HKMA for implementing DFA, EMIR, HKMA and other regulations in Asia. Project scope includes Trade Reconciliation, Mis-booking reports, XSLT transformation and UTI/USI reporting requirements of Rates business using Misys Summit as the Primary Trading System. Got to work specifically on final phase of HKMA reporting for APAC branches as well as mis-booking reports for all regulations across globe
Nearly 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst for a Front Office Trading & Risk Management product.
Being the business owner of Currency Futures Trader Workstation and Internet and Mobile trading applications have a detailed understanding of SDLC process.
Being a product specialist, have conducted user trainings, provided production support, handled UATs and even supported the Pre Sales team for responding to RFIs and presented demos to prospective clients.
Strong knowledge of Capital Markets - particularly Trading in Equity & Derivatives
