Prepare Lift plans and advice on the Crane selection, Positioning and configuration.
Review of Third party Lift plans and drawings. Providing suggestions to ensure the lift is within the safe limits as per Standard, Regulations and country laws (LOLER, PUWER, BS 7121 etc.)
Assist HSE Department in Developing, Maintaining, Updating, Circulating and Educating Company Employee on HSE Policies, Manuals, Guidelines, Specifications, Standards, Procedures and Checklists.
Perform Site Visits and develop HSE training Program and impart training to Lifting personal on safe lifting operations.
Assist HSE Manager and HSE Divisional Manager in HSE related to Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Assembly and Testing.
Assist in preparing HSE Risk Assessment.
Ensure all Shell GTL and contractors lifting equipment is registered and inspected and certified in line with the regulation.
Complete all other tasks as requested by Management.
1. Review of lifting plan, training, inspection and verification of the lifting equipment
2. To develop and maintain lifting equipment management system
3. To verify adherence to lifting equipment inspection standards and procedure on company and contractors.
4. Provide periodical surveys of company lifting equipment, so as to achieve safe and efficient operation.
5. Data base up dated with respect to lifting equipment inspection status
6. Provide quality control surveillance during fabrication and installation activities on the company contractors
7.To carry out audit for contractor facility rigging equipment and plans submittal
8. Inspection and testing of all Kinds of lifting equipment, as well as all lifting gears items.
9. Review the sub-contractors welding procedures specifications /project
quality plan and work control procedures
10.Reading and interpreting of drawings, if any deviation; takes corrective measures and co-ordinate with engineering department.
11. Review and approve material Mill certificates in accordance with project specifications/international standards.
12. Raise Non conformance report /corrective action, concession request and Technical queries.
13. Compilation of final document
14. Review the subcontractors/suppliers final dossier documents.
15. Attend the meeting report QA/QC issues.
