Singapore Airlines - 1st Nov 2008 to date Being the Asst.Manager SIA Operations, my responsibilities / functions involved are: Ref. Attached org. chart· Hold operational responsibilities for Ticking and Reservations staff (two ticketing, 3 sales and one accounts and admin staff) and monitoring of sales staff’s day to day activities; · Direct report to DSM SIA.Managing corporate and travel agency sales of numerous clients in Riyadh by personal sales visits which resulted in optimizing revenue and expansion of market share. Analyze sales figures and market trends in order to be ahead of the competitors.


Key Responsibilities: • Sales - Manage new and existing accounts to meet and/or exceed revenue goals through a combination of field sales visits, emails and telephone calls. Drive sales performance in designated territory through the implementation of a sales strategy across a portfolio of clients maximizing revenue contribution to exceed revenue targets. Ensure that all accounts in assigned portfolio are properly planned / developed to ensure revenue / market share.• Corporate Sales - Responsible to develop and manage the local corporate and even the global corporate accounts based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Secured and locked corporate sales by offering exclusive corporate incentive and loyalty offers. • Trade Sales - Visiting travel agencies to boost sales and create product awareness. Create business plans to maximize most cost effective channels of fulfillment for sales. Follow up on the business opportunities generated by sales visits. • Contract Negotiations - Comprehensive preparation of CIP & AIP contracts (Corporate & Trade Incentive programme). Negotiating contracts with existing corporate accounts and travel management companies. Also negotiating new contracts with high potential / high volume companies.• Trade / Corporate Marketing Activities - Plan in collaboration with marketing team creative and innovative ways of influencing business growth through additional marketing activities such as dinner events, sponsorships and co-branding.• Reports and Analysis - Prepare business reports for corporate and agencies to analyze their performance. Analyze client performance in comparison to competitors and previous years. Use this to subsequently give market feedback to Sales Support and Management.· Major corporate clients under my direct supervision:o Saudi Aramcoo SABICo BAEo AlMaraio Government hospitals, and o Government ministries o STCN
