Regular contacts with operations and maintenance personnel to review and follow-up on safe working practices
• Ensure safety measures in the gas plant during pre-shutdown and post-shut down activities
• Oversees the implementation of the “permit to work” system, covering hot maintenance work and man entry, includes reviewing permits issued by operations personnel, ensuring proper measures are taken prior to commencement of work, such as equipment or plant isolation, shutdown and that necessary tests (such as gas tests) are taken. Ensures all work areas are safe for required work through visits to work sites during dangerous or potentially difficult work. Close monitoring of shutdown maintenance activities (Lifting, height works, confined space, hot works, hydro testing, hydro jetting, chemical cleaning process, purging, pigging etc.) in shutdown project premises and correctthe unsafe acts/conditions
• Participate and monitor daily toolbox talks, trainings at site
• Preparing and updating Job Safety Analysis / risk assessment for routine or non- routine work
before they start.
• Conducting initial to final investigation for incident report for LTI, restricted to work, medical treatment, & first aid
• Participating different kind of emergency drills like, H2S, Hydrocarbon release, Fire. Etc.
• Conduct regular work site safety inspections /audit / walk about
• Monitor the weather status and advice the crews on safety measures, Monitor radiography at site
• Monitor proper waste management plan at plant premises
• Maintain Lifting Gear Register on assigned rigs.
• Collate all HSE related data and report monthly to HSE Manager
