• Reporting to the Director Engineering group and responsible to manage the design development process/production and management of the project deliverables and various sub consultants and stakeholders in day-to-day project design activities.
• Maintain the time schedule and associated deliverables.
• Organising and leading the coordination joint working group meeting with main stakeholders.
• Coordination with the external stakeholders, the managers and experts of the engineering department and the program departments to develop Urban Interface concepts which clearly identify unambiguous interfaces with public realm and infrastructure facilities.
• Coordinate all design matters relating to the project, helping to ensure that the multi-disciplinary teams building the project work together smoothly and that everything is delivered on time and within budget
• Ensuring that the design work is of sufficient quality and that all directives are being followed
• Responsible for overall design delivery.
• Delivery of the project within budget, schedule and quality.
• Acting as Director of design for the implementation of design and construction support of international rail projects in different countries like India, France, Bangkok, Manila. etc. Ensuring delivery of project to budget, program, safety and quality to meet client specifications.
• Management and monitoring of disciplines to ensure compliance of design to building codes and integration of designs and drawings with different disciplines.
• Allocation of resources to ensure program is achieved.
Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Project Director, managed 120 staff and responsible to manage the design development process for the metro project including the management of the engineering department in all day to day project design and construction execution activities.
• Monitoring of project management activities including program, scope and cost management.
• Chair of design and construction meetings and resolve all design related issues relative to coordination of works on site.
• Liaison with client and various stakeholders for all project related activities.
Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Design Director, managed 30 staff and responsible for the oversight of the design and detailed design development stage of projects including coordination with clients, contractors, government and consultants with ongoing client interface.
• Lead concept and design developments to tender design stages and implement sustainable strategies as part of Green Building design and as the Principal Team Leader as a LEED AP.
• Design and tender development including design verification and ongoing site supervision.
• Oversight of a team of architects in concept design and detailed design strategies achieving LEED credits and ensuring LEED certification for the building.
• Review of contractor’s shop drawings and management of RFI responses, material submittal approvals and attendance at site meetings.
Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Head of Architecture, managed 15 staff and responsible for the detailed design development of the project including client interface for the project.
• Team Leader for various stages of submission including the review of contractor shop drawings.
• Preparation of various design solutions and concepts across various stages of development
.
• Reporting to the General Manager, managed 10 staff and responsible for the design of projects including preparation of shop drawings, detailed drawings, municipality approvals, coordination with consultants, contractors and clients.
• Management of the design and construction team for the Metro project including design, coordination meetings, consultant liaison, review of drawings, material submittals and interpretation of free zone rules and regulations for key projects.
Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Architectural Manager, managed 5 staff and responsible for the master planning of the hospital project including detailed case studies, concept design and preliminary design development drawings and detailed design drawings.
• For the Row Housing project, responsible to produce design development drawings, detailed drawings, perspectives, site visits and tender formulation.
• For the Kalsar College project, responsible for the development of the concept, design development and detailed design phase of the project.
I am a degree qualified Architect in India, with a certificate in bachelor of Architecture.
