IT Infra Architect working on cloud, virtualization, security area.
Working on Rackspace Cloud and Openstack private cloud implementation for the IT Production, Development Environment.
Design, Deploy IT Production and Development system for Karma Technologies on LAMP and JBoss Environment.
Scope includes IaaS, Linux, Apache, PHP, DNS, Security and etc.
I was working as Manager System Administration and handled ZCloud project.
I have worked mainly on Cloudstack platform and involved in migration of zynga game application from physical environment to Zcloud cloudstack Virtual environment.
The project involved migration of about 800+ physical servers to zcloud cloudstack \[ private cloud \] virtual environment.
Managed one of the largest private cloud “ZCloud” having thousands of Virtual hosts based on Xen Cloud Server implementation by Cloustack Cloud Management platform. Also worked on managing AWS ec2 instances for various games platforms and migrated few games platforms from AWS ec2 instances to “Zcloud”.
I was working as principal engineer handling internal security project.
Joined back in yahoo as Principal Engineer and was working on internal security Project.
I was Managing systems and working with dev team for product releases, product design / review / performance tuning and site up of the systems.
I was managing team of 8 people under infraops team. The responsibilities includes working with DEV and QA team on projects design, implementation and operations management of infraops/systools properties during DEV, QA and Production stages.
Most of the projects involved are back-end properties which are backbone of Yahoo Network wide system. As Individual contributor, I supported Internal Security Project which is a centralised firewall access control system, based on iptables rules, exclusively developed in yahoo for internal use.
People management responsibilities include, working with US team and delegating project based work with team members. Working closely with DEV Project Managers on New Projects, Project releases, QA team support and etc. Being Appraisal team member which includes my Senior Managers, Team members were evaluated based on their performance with help of 360 degree appraisal model.
