Direct the employees and supervision of work related to civil/structural and associated works.
Coordinate with project managers for resolution of related issues.
Coordinate and report to the reporting authority/manager on specific subjects including resourcing, technical issues, project progress, efficiency, and performance of the resources/discipline.
Responsible for maintaining quality and technical correctness through reviewing all drawings, design proposal, method statements, any requests for information relating to the civil/structural works.
Coordinate with client, sub-contractors, and related concerned authorities.
Convene and chair regular team meetings about issues related to civil structural work and related activities.
Ensure prompt exchange of correspondence and approvals.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
Ensure safety goals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation of safety procedures on the project.
Act positively and participate in all health and safety issues at the site, as required by the project safety representatives.
Comply with safety, health, and risk management requirements.
Provide all necessary on-site direction and issue work instruction for civil/structural and other related activities.
Check and measure the performed work and record and display progress vs programmed work.
Prepare progress report as applicable.
