Imparting Safety induction training, use of fire protection systems, Induction training, Occupational health, emergency preparedness, etc. Conducting training on Plant evacuation, and building fire alarms; as well as on HSE policies, procedures, loss
prevention principles. Periodically reviewing training needs of Fire & Safety personnel and sending them for various courses.
Developing and implementing contractor safety management guidelines, supporting formulation of Project management and training plans for all new contractors. Carrying out HAZOP Study, Safety Audits, and complete accident report & investigation/ accident prevention programme implementation. Co-ordinating during External Safety Audits. Preparing status reports of Safety Audits for submission to various agencies.
Quality, Health & Safety Management: Executing Quality, Health and Safety Management plans in an effective manner. Conducting safety inspections/audits, Occupational health surveys and surveillance and field auditing for compliance. Devising and implementing Emergency Response Plan for the Onsite and Offsite operations. Conducting inspection &
approvals of new equipment at vendor locations. Investigating all accidents, Occupational health issues and suggesting recommendations.
Compiling, collating and preparing monthly/quarterly status of Safety Audits recommendations and submission. Maintaining complete documents of fire protection systems testing and inspection. Managing process hazards analysis documents for revalidation. Preparing and updating various manuals like Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Safety manual, Onsite emergency plan, Safety manual for contractors, Fire Emergency Procedure Manual, Fire Manual & Pocket Fire Fighting Guide Manual etc.
