I am working as Procurement Manager in Interiors involving Civil& MEP Sub Contractor Finalizations as per BOQ, Budget & Drawings as per Project requirements, leading a Procurement team of 4 persons, involving material purchase also.
Responsibilities
Analyse the BOQ & Drawings & Finalising the contract after negotiation with the Sub contractors as per Budget & Drawings with maximum profit, coordinating with the Estimation team & Project Managers if required.
Managing a team of Purchase(4 persons) for Civil & MEP Contractors Finalisations & to arrange materials required for the Interior fit out projects as per the material requests from the Project managers as per BOQ & as per Site requirements.
Negotiating the Contract amount & Payment terms, instruct the purchase team to release LPO. Following up with the Accounts to release payment to the sub-contractors & suppliers.
Support the Project managers for managing & arranging the sub-contractors & materials at site as per project requirements & standards. Advise the Estimation team as required, if any updates in the Contractors prices or Project requirements which in turn will support the company to avoid any loss when taking new projects in this regard.
Reporting to the Vice president about the procurement status & if any negative variations in Budget. Supporting the Company in the Budget control of the Projects in order to get the best possible profit.
Company : A leading interior fitout contractor based in
UAE & KSA.
Responsibilities
Managing a team of (3) proposal engineers.
Training, mentoring and motivating the proposal team
to ensure that proposals are prepared within the time
frame and as per specifications.
Analysis of Tender Documents
Analysis of Civil & MEP drawings & Preparation of
detailed Civil & MEP BOQ in Excel.
Coordinating with the client to get the right technical
information for preparing detailed proposals.
Representing the company in pre and post bid technical
discussions.
Pre bid site visits for tenders.
Identifying right vendors and Liaising with them for
quotations and estimates.
Negotiating with vendors for right pricing.
Prepare Cost estimation for Civil, MEP & Joinery after
analysis of drawings & Material prices.
Discussions with the internal stake holders to decide on
the pricing to win work.
Preparation of Budget.
Liaising with engineering team to prepare project
variations and final estimates once a project is won.
Attending internal kick off meeting to advise the project
team on the jobs.
Reporting & Coordination with Operations Manager &
CEO regarding Quotations.

dealing with construction of flats and villa projects.
Responsibilities
Overall Coordination in the Constructional supervision
of civil works.
Organize project schedule and monitor work execution
while ensuring adherence to design and quality
requirements.
Monitor resource requirement, check inventory and
coordinate with materials division for procurement.
Coordinate the activities of Quality, Engineering and
Material Departments.
Preparing the daily progress reports, check lists for
quality control, Material requirement lists.
Submission of Periodic reports to Project Manager.
Preparation of Running Bills for the payment of
Subcontractors.
Direct maximum utilization of resources towards
improving productivity and implement quality control in
the projects.
Manage the timely and smooth execution of projects in
close coordination with the sub-contractors.
Define areas of quality failures and implement process
changes for qualitative improvement.
A UK based company having offshore office
in Kerala, India, involved in Mapping& making of
Autocad 3d models of geographical features, using GIS
Softwares.
Responsibilities
Interpretation of the Area given by the customer.
Give the requirement of the satellite images (Digital&
Frame camera images) needed according to the area
given.
Interpretation of the satellite images.
Locating the area given by the customer in different
parts of UK (London, Sheffield, Cardiff, Birmingham,
Manchester, Southampton, Liverpool, Cambridge etc).
Analyse & purchase Geographical information
according to the requirement of the given area, from the
UK pro-map.
Marking of the areas economically, analyzing the
images, where GPS is to be taken, if the Geographical
information is not available in the Promap.
Conversion of the Geographical information from the
UK promap features to Auto Cad.
Aligning the geographical features of the Promap to the
required area of the customer.
Conduct triangulation work with GIS Softwares using
trial &error method to make block file.
Check the accuracy of the block file using stereo
glasses.
Provide the block file to the drafting section & give the
instructions needed, where the block file is drafted
using Autocad 3D& converted to Autocad 3D model.
Check the discrepancies between the block file given &
the drafted model.

Providing the Customers or Architects with an Autocad
3D model of the given area, from which they can know
the levels of roads & buildings in the area, to a
reasonable accuracy of +- 20cm.
Manage & instruct the Junior Engineers.
