• Operate, set up, and maintain DMH 500 CNC lathe using Siemens SINUMERIK 828D controls for custom hydraulic
seal production.
• Read and analyze gland dimensions, sample parts, and customer requirements to determine correct seal profiles,
material selection, and machining approach.
• Edit CNC programs/parameters and apply tool offsets, tool wear compensation, and process adjustments to
maintain dimensional consistency.
• Machine PU, NBR, FPM/Viton, PTFE, and POM components using internal/external turning, groove cuting, facing,
and profile finishing operations.
• Perform dimensional and surface-finish inspection using precision measuring tools before customer delivery.
• Troubleshoot dimensional variation, tool wear, surface finish issues, material behavior, and setup problems during
custom production.
• Handle urgent and custom production schedules while coordinating order requirements between customers,
sales, and production.
• Provide technical guidance to customers on seal profile selection, material suitability, pressure considerations,
operating environment, and application fit.
• Support daily workshop and front-office operations including quotations, inventory checking, cashiering, product
inquiries, and customer assistance.
• Train junior operator in machine setup, safe operation, inspection methods, and basic troubleshooting procedures.
