Designation Hospital Administrator Role:
• Relieves the Hospital CEO when he is out of station for duty or on leave.
• Responsible for the smooth day to day operations of the Hospital
• Financial obligations-working hand in hand with the hospital accountant to ensure there is adequate cash flow to run the hospitals expenditures, by ensuring proper debt collection strategies and also having adequate cash paying clients through discounts, packaged services etc
• Estates management-Responsible for the estate, property, insurance status and maintenance of assets register of the Hospital, ending at asset disposal stage.
• Procurement-Overseeing procurement department to ensure the Procurement SOP is adhered to for the hospital to get value for money in all procurement activities.
• Human Resource -Handling all HR matters from recruitment, ensure proper training of staf as per the hospitals SOPs and standards of care provision, appraisals, motivation and rewards, ending at disciplinary and separation, while reporting to the CEO and HR Committee.
• Regulatory compliance- ensuring the hospital operates legally in all aspects of licensing of the facility and stafing, ensuring compliance to NHIF, MOH, KMPDC, NEMA and all associated stakeholders.
