Pricing of Civil works: Analyzing different activities involved in a job and the cost of each activity; thereby to derive the unit rate for the work.
Evaluation of Works: On-site evaluation of the percentage of works executed at site and preparation.
to understand specs and drawings for Quantity takeoffs. Coordination with respective engineers to compiles relative rates for tender document. Gather rates from RFQs for comparison sheets and make sure all data's ensure to be all correct and applied. Attending client meetings and site survey if needed.
• Evaluate Contractors Monthly Progress Billing for payment recommendations to the Owner based on actual accomplished quantities and approved checklist in accordance with the criteria stipulated in the Approved Checklist and Contract Specifications in all trades.
• Preparing and Evaluate Variation of Orders for all trades based on Proposal or Revised Architectural/Structural/Electrical/Mechanical Designs and Contract Unit Cost.
• Providing any costs analysis for new, repair and maintenance project work.
Duties and Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:
1. Preparing bills of quantities and other tender documents for competitive projects.
2. Evaluate and Submit Monthly Progress Billing to Contractors based on actual accomplished quantities to recommendation for payments.
3. Providing any costs analysis for new, repair and maintenance project work.
4. Insuring that the Project is done as per schedule in accordance with the criteria stipulated in the Approved Shop Drawings and Contract Specifications.
• Evaluate and Review Monthly Progress Billing of Contractors based on actual accomplished quantities to pay subcontractor, supplier and manpower.
• Insuring that the Project is done as per schedule in accordance with the criteria stipulated in the approved Plan and Design Standard and Specifications.
• Securing that all Materials passed the standard requirements as Specified in the AASHTO, ACI and Structural Code of the Philippines Manual for road and bridges in the project.
• During the execution of the works being undertaken, the Construction Methodology, Safety and Discipline insure that approved.
