Convincing everyone in a company to completely abandon a familiar HSE system for a new one is not an easy job. However, it is highly important to engage all employees so HSE digitalization can be influenced from the bottom up.
Organizing and controlling all activities include meetings, training, and updating documentation for all aspects of the HSE process system.
Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
Plan and Conduct HSE training courses using internal and external resources when required.
Maintain awareness of evolving industry HSE regulations and best practice and how they could be applied to the Company’s operations.
Act as Subject Matter Expert for HSE matters.
Produce further analysis and reports as may be required by the Directors, or PCES management from time to time.

• Project details: This project is located at Shurayrah Island as part of Red Sea Development in Saudi Arabia. (Al Shurayrah P8 - East Hotels HE2). Home to no less than 11 high-end hotels and resorts as well as a range of leisure activities, the island has been brought to life by award-winning, London-based architects, Foster + Partners. A first-of-its-kind design concept, Coral Bloom is an ode to the fauna and flora-filled waters that gently lap the island, and the kaleidoscopically-hued corals that lay below the azure waters. The project involves construction of a hotel. It is expected to be completed by end of 2024

erections & dismantling activities, Slab shuttering & form work, fire risk assessment, electrical live
rooms & strict monitoring of LOTO Procedures for energization / de-energization, testing &
commissioning, gas storage area, and so on critical jobs and equipment including mobile crane,
tower crane, mast climber, cradle, manlift, cherry picker, crawler crane, excavator, scissor lift,
passenger hoist, derrick crane, BMU unit and so on. Conducted safety promotional activities like
hand safety campaign, emergency response mock drill campaign, safe work at height campaign,

QAR 2.5 Billion Description: The world’s first sustainable regeneration of a downtown area in a
modern city. The project combines traditional local building practices and design influences with
the latest technologies in energy efficiency and environmental management. It involves the
construction of a built-up area of approximately 310, 000 m2 comprising 14 buildings that are up to
22 storeys in height as well as four basement levels offering 2, 200 parking spaces. Phase 3 will
comprise two office buildings, 350 residential units spread across 11 buildings, four communal
swimming pools in addition to a mosque, retail, hospitality, hotels and community facilities. The
project is gold rated under internationally recognized LEED Certification System developed by the
US Green Building Council.

Roles & Responsibilities:

 Understand and comply with the requirements of the company safety policy and the safety management system.
 Beware of the requirements of current legislation and local regulations.
 Assist as requested in the preparation of project health and safety plans.
 Identify hazard, prepare/obtain risk assessments and obtain/provide method statement for protection of personal and prevention of accident.
 When planning work, as far as reasonably practical, take account of factors, which will help to eliminate the injury, damage, disruption, waste and fire risk.
 Undertake, on regular basis, health and safety checks on all aspects of the project and its systems using the standard checklist.
 Check that all machinery and plant, including power and hand tools, are maintained in good condition.
 Check that safe systems of work are implemented and carried out by competent and responsible operatives.
 Ensure that key staff knows emergency procedures and any special procedures for individual site operations.
 Ensure completion of statutory registers and inspection records.
 Monitor the activities of sub-contractors to ensure that their compliance with statutory and company safety requirements.
 That any visits by the local safety inspectorate are reported to the Board.
