I worked as an intern till Nov 2010 and permanent employee thereafter. Works handled are as follows:
1) Direct Taxation
* Conduct and Finalization of Tax Audit.
* Representation before the Income Tax Authorities, inter-alia, in connection with assessments, rectification, petitions under various provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
* Settling Paper Book for submission to ITAT.
* Rendering Opinion to Clients on various aspects of taxation.

2) Mergers and Acquisitions
The scope of my work included:-
• Identification of suitable targets for clients based on their requirements and areas of interest.
• Assisting in examination and finalisation of transaction structure.
• Carrying out due diligence exercise of companies and preparation of Due Diligence Report.
• Assisting in preparation of transaction documents like Share Purchase Agreement, Shareholders' Agreement, Call & Put option agreement, etc.
Major Assignment handled: 1 Acquisition of Dutch Lanka Trailer Manufacturers Limited by TRF Limited: TRF Limited, an India-based provider of engineered equipment, systems, and services, acquired 51% of equity shares of Dutch Lanka Trailer Manufacturers, Ltd. (DLT), a Sri Lanka-based manufacturer of trailers and semi trailers. Towards this I was engaged in assisting in the following services: • Conducting due diligence at Sri Lanka and various other locations of the business.
• Assisting in preparation of various legal documents like Share Purchase Agreement, Shareholders' Agreement, Call & Put option agreement etc.
2. Valuation of equity shares of Mcnally Sayaji Engineering Ltd.
