Project Description:
Creation of VWI (Visual Work Instructions) and Process sheet to show the various processes involved in the manufacturing of Aircraft Aft Fuselage assembly on Global 7500 line balancing which involves detail planning & Sub-Assy planning of Tail cone, Vertical stabilizer, Door assy, Pylon structures and Systems as per Engineering Drawing by using 3D VIA software.
• Establishing the Quality systems & procedures to meet business requirements.
• Ensuring and verifying customer problems and being an customer support to reduce problems.
• Planning and allocation of inspectors in different shifts and regular review of the same.
• Training of inspectors, development of Inspectors on end application of the product, measurement techniques, basic quality system requirements and monitoring their performance.
• Data collection on Product & Process performance and analyzing the reason for poor performance along with the Operations team to drive for improvements.
• Addressing the Quality issues reported by User Department and verify the NC parts.
• Work towards continuous improvement in detection mechanism, reduction of inspection lead time.
• Organizing the incoming inspection of child parts
• Actively participating in Overall receiving & process improvement program initiated by the Operations team.
Spirit Aero: Having 1 Year Experience
Project Description:
The scope of work is to validate Last Article Inspection for incumbent suppliers (When supplier manufactures part for last time) & Validate First Article Inspection (When supplier manufactures part for First time) for new suppliers as part of transfer work from one supplier to another for spirit aero system Supplier Development Team. To assist, update new suppliers to use Digitalized FAI Technology in quality to avoid scraps & delay in supply in turn delay in Assembly & Production line.
Contribution:
• Validation of First Article Inspection Report using Inspection Expert and Net-Inspect for Assembly and Installation of various primary and secondary structural components of the Aircraft at Assembly Line.
• Verification of First Article Inspection Report for sequence of manufacturing operations (Work and material flow) to ensure quality, speed and consistency in fabrication and assembly
• Verifying Special processes/Materials defined in FAI Reports meets engineering requirements.
• To verify Sources of Process & Material for Supplier from Approved Sources defined by the customers
• Ensuring all engineering criteria’s defined in Parts List & Engineering drawing were taken in to account in creation of FAI documents and FAI results are of under the specified limits.
• Ensure all key characteristics are validated in FAI’s using qualified tooling’s defined by spirit Aero System
• Redirecting/Rejecting FAI back to suppliers when design characteristics are failed to meet through Supplier Non Conformance Notifications. (SNN’s)
• Redirecting FAI’s to Spirit Approval on Successful validation conforming to engineering requirements
