• Administration of Linux, Mac and windows servers/systems at Masdar Institute of Science and Technology which is a client of Injazat Data Systems.
• Identify service trends and potential issues, and recommended improvements for IT service desk as per ITIL standards.
• Key technical support on both Microsoft products (Server 2003/2008, Windows Xp and 7, Office 2007/2010) and Linux server/systems (Redhat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Managing OS/software upgrades/implementation.
• Server/desktop migration projects.
• Addition of workstations to domain.
• Manage Service Desk by resolving issues of the customers in an urgent manner considering the SLA.
• Deployment of new PC’s/laptops/printers for different projects considering the requirement of the customers.
• Installing and configuring Local/Network printer installation.
• Disaster Recovery, Disk Cloning, Disk Imaging and Deploying via Clonezilla.
• Provide remote/onsite support to users to resolve issues without breaking SLA.
• Installing, checking and maintaining all latest Antivirus updates on both servers and clients.
• Creating and managing virtual machines using Oracle Virtual Machine hypervisor.
• Implementation, Integration, Troubleshooting and maintaining of Local Area Networks.
• Responsible for Checking, Installing and maintaining all latest Service packs and Microsoft critical patches on Servers and Clients.
• Responsible for Installing and maintaining DHCP Server.
• Managing user accounts via Active Directory. User account renewals and releasing account lockouts.
• Responsible for closing the calls within SLA
• Escalate the calls with vendors for support and servicing of desktops/laptops/printers etc
• Responsible for Vendor Co-ordination, Spare Management and Asset Management.
