having capacity 3.5 million metric ton per annum cement production and 50 MW Power unit along with two limestone mines having production capacity 15000 ton per day, Work responsibilities were as follow for J.K. Cement ltd.
•Environmental clearance, compliance in form-I and form-XIII, Environmental statement report (form-V) preparation and correspondence with concern department of state and central pollution control board for Cement plant, mines and Power plant.
•Ambient air, Stack air, Water quality (Drinking, ETP and STP treated waste water), fugitive, work place environment, noise monitoring.
•Electrostatic precipitator and Bag house efficiency monitoring.
•Handling of all the latest environmental equipments including online weather station as per ISO series.
•Documentations and follow-up of all correspondence between Environment cell and third parties.
•Preparation of various chemicals/solutions for ambient air quality and Stack gas sampling and its calibration for standards result and efficiency.
•Conduct Internal auditing of ISO-9001, 14001, and 18001 for the cement plant, power plant, limestone mines, sales and marketing office as well.
•Safety information (work at height, work in confined area safe working practices) deliver to employees.
•Hazardous waste utilization in Cement kiln, its approval in form-iv and documentation.
•Maintaining and record keeping of water consumption in domestic and industrial use.
•Submission of Water cess return as per water cess act.
•Monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual report preparation and submission to the State pollution control board, Central pollution control board, Ministry of Environment and forest offices and its regional offices.
•Handling and minor maintenance of environmental equipment’s like Spectrophoto-meter, flame photometer, pH meter, Electrical conductivity meter, Turbidity meter, Respirable Dust Sampler, Pm2.5 and Pm10 sampler, Personal dust sampler, Flue gas analyzer, Online weather station, Noise monitor.
•Water sampling from various villages around the Cement plant and its analysis work.
