Credit Control & Finance
Costing-Freight Cost Analysis
•Preparing the cost sheets in line with the total freights
•Drafting & reviewing of annual budget report (product wise) to top management
•Responsible for major cost items, overheads, raw material and packing material for warehouse
•Preparing cost/rates from different transporters
•Compiling rates to L1 & participation in RFQ for customers
•Drafting progress reports of freights scheduled by the organization
•Creating reports on the accessory monetary values, fuel charges and overall expenditure of freights of the organization
•Extending beneficial support in establishing suitable solutions for the freight invoices that have found to be controversial in the eyes of the organization
•Acquiring the freight reduction objectives by setting up the price savings prospects
Procurement :
•Responsible from Procurement planning to delivery of the RM to Production and FG to Customer.
•Responsible for ensuring timely procurement to prevent any production delay and prevent overstock/understock by maintaining a procurement planning tool that matches customer deliveries to purchased raw materials.
•Responsible Procurement QA/QC standards that have to be applied to all PO
•Responsible for QA/QC checks and audit trial on all goods inward to the facilities to ensure they meet the PO QA/QC standard.
•Responsible for import & export procedure, documentation and benefits available to the industry which could be useful for dealing in international customers
Logistics Management:
•Responsible of Selection of Logistics companies/ transporter.
•Handled Logistics Rate contract negotiation and finalization.
•Handled documentation and online forms submission/preparation etc. for transportation.
•Responsible for timely dispatch to the respective site to meet the dead line & avoid shortfall of the same
Inventory Planning & Management:
•Handling Inventory Management in the plant and various sites of operations as per ABC analysis.
•Maintaining a last FIFO register
•Responsible to Minimize Dead stock and shortages
•Responsible for Production planning on monthly/weekly/daily basis.
•Responsible for Dispatch planning in consultation with site operations.
Supply Chain
• Maintaining the business relationship with customer
•Handling contract management & tendering process
Safety
•Good exposure of maintain the compliance of HSE policy of the company
•Team focus on safety first and be a leader in Safety mgt
•Responsible for Road transport and HSE on the transport companies.
•Responsible for Road transport Emergency call out and action plan.
•Handling external training based on safety i.e Drivers training programes
Finance
•Comprehend legal documents to ensure all costs are understood and all procedures for goods inward and outward are understood.
•Understanding and developing bids and award strategies
•Responsible for Compile a report on business analysis of supply chain based on key KPI, schedule, safety, delivery, quality, cost.
Stores Management:
•Plan for Storage, Local Transportation Setup within the Scheduled Plan & Execution- storage plan based on "RM storage location Min max level”
•No Obsolete Material, Monitor on Min Max Level, Inventory Management
Internal Audit and statutory Audit:
•Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
•Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc
•Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process
•Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
•Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
•Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
•Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
•Verifies assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation
Current Responsibilities
•Daily tracking of vehicles with the help of GPRS system implemented in the vehicle and checking the Bills with the MIS.
•Preparation of Pallet Occupancy reports for WH located at PAN INDIA
•Contract Management - Local, Inbound & Outbound Transportation-Agreement and rate negotiation before FY.
•Reduce Freight Cost by negotiation/ alternate source and Max Use of Truck Space
•No Inventory Variations or Mismatch
•Maintaining FIFO and ensuring Physical Inventory variance is less than the target taken in BSC in Stores
•Ensuring the accuracy of quantity receipt and GRN quantity
•Auditing the bills of transportation and storage/handling charges.
•Managing vendor and procurement operations and methodology.
ACHIEVEMENTS
•Generated 2.3 million savings in conduction primary transportation RFQ with Toll Global Logistics
•Developed a system for overseeing and ensuring that POD is duly received from the secondary transporter and recorded in SAP on time for the client with Toll Global Logistics
•Collected a long outstanding of Rs.8 crores from the customer at Mahindra Logistics
•Developed a system how to reduce the time from 1 hour to 30 minutes in line feeding during set up change at Tata Hendrickson suspension Pvt Ltd.
•Developed an integrated system for Primary and secondary transportation through syncing in to SAP.
•Developed the pallet occupancy report with the help of SAP.
