 Provide technical advice on the rotating equipment to various departments and evaluate technical proposals in co-ordination with the maintenance department on issues related to rotating equipment.
 Ensure continued operability, integrity, maintainability and reliability of rotating equipment.
 Ensure the quality of repairs and overhaul provided by various manufacturers and local workshops are in line with the standards.
 Contribute in identifying solutions to the day to day mechanical maintenance problem ensuring that the engineering standards and codes are met.
 Review along with the procurement division the spare stock requirement for the rotating machinery and ensure that optimum levels are maintained and support the procurement department during technical evaluation of the offers received from various supplies.
 Act as rotating equipment Inspector during shutdowns to ensure QA/QC standards are enforced& maintained.
 Maintain effective history record of the main rotating equipment and utilize such records to plan proper replacement of aged parts.

 Planning of maintenance and overhauling activities related rotating and static equipment
 Write maintenance and overhauling procedures of rotating equipment
 Check commissioning document, P&ID, data sheets, spare parts, lubricants etc..,
 Supervise machinery cold &hot run test. Troubleshooting and maintenance.
 Provide supervision and technical support for maintenance technicians
 Develop, punch list for uncompleted work.
 Coordinate with constructor, vendors and clients operation, maintenance and inspection groups.
 Maintain Interface relation with operation, engineering, procurement and QA/QC groups.
 Prepare cost and material estimate for all activities within the department

I gained vast knowledge and experience about aero-derivatives, twin shaft and heavy frame 6 (GE) gas turbines. Responsible for preparation of Basic Study, Comprehensive Study, Data Sheet, MR, TBA and P.O. of revamp of gas turbines and related facilities. I gained vast knowledge and experience about replacement of combustion system with dry low emission systems, Gas Turbine Pollutant Emissions reduction, Gas Turbine Combustion Improvement, efficiency and reliability improvement, add cogeneration to gas turbine units, replacement of gas turbine units with variable speed electrical motors, gas turbine control system upgrading and condition monitoring of gas turbines.


I gained vast knowledge and experience about Compressor and Turbo Expanders (API 611, API 612 and API 617), Over-speed Detection Systems, SSS Clutch, Screw Refrigeration Compressors, Refrigeration Packages, Industrial Heavy Duty Elevator, etc. Responsible for preparation of Data Sheet, MR, TBA and P.O. documents, detail design, Vendor document review, vendor negotiation, site support of rotating equipment and packages including Polyethylene Cycle Gas Compressor, killed gas and cryogenic turbo expanders, large capacity (100 Ton) refrigeration packages and 2.5 Ton Industrial Elevator for Pellet Building with 9 stops.
