Determines pricing protocol for products/suppliers based on market reviews, competitor positions, supplier financials, etc.
Fully understands supplier cost structures and logistics costs. Is able to identify value added opportunities for McDonald’s as appropriate.
Provides monthly updates to relevant parties on key costs and expenses related to purchasing.
Has a good understanding of current trends in pricing and is able to forecast accurate food and paper cost and recommend appropriate actions when trends are adverse.
