• Taking care of import shipments from different part of the world (mainly from China)
• Bill of Entry submission through Dubai Trade and after that arranges transportation to bring our containers from Sea port to our premises.
• Interface with vendors and clients to ensure proper delivery of shipment
• Meets with vendors to negotiate improved pricing, product quality, and delivery.
• Create and maintain contact with vendors and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Interact with third party logistics service providers
• Attends internal product development meetings to identify new product demands, schedules, and procurement needs. Forecasts requirements and orders products to meet sales demands.
• Reviews and approves purchase order placement of purchasing assistants and buyers for accuracy and optimum delivery and pricing.
• Assist customers with inquiries
• Assisted with maintaining accurate filing systems and supported records of actions for audit purposes
• Assisted with timely reporting on stock status, to help Program staff with planning of stock replenishment
• Audit freight cost and documentation
• Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and the Internet applications

• Extensive knowledge of logistic operations like distribution, transportation and warehousing

• Insures proper documentation, including transit documents and customs clearances, exists for shipments. Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carrier, forwarders, customers and agents in a timely manner.
• Maintain courteous, prompt and efficient customer relations.
• Plan and schedule appropriate modes of transportation based on daily needs. Schedule the appropriate service line for the situation (across all modes and all trade lanes) to maintain a cost effective balance between customer service and cost of shipment.
• Ensure company policy, systems, and industry related training is delivered to all direct reports as needed.
• Leads core team responsible for meeting the needs of clients assigned to the group.
• Responsible for resolving all internal and external client customer service issues in a cost effective and expeditious manner.
• Works closely with client’s representatives to ensure service satisfaction.
• Handling customer queries and complaints.
